Ingredients need to make the talbina recipe

  • 1 cup barley
  • 1-liter milk
  • 1/2 cup dates/honey
  • 2 tbsp chopped nuts

Method of making talbina

  1. Wash barley thoroughly and soak it for 3-4 hours.
  2. Boil milk in a pan and add soaked barley to it.
  3. Let it boil for 10 minutes.
  4. Now add chopped and seedless dates for sweetness. If you are using honey, then add honey in the last step.
  5. Cook for 10 more minutes.
  6. After it is almost cooked, add chopped fruits and dry fruits of your choice.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
