  • 1 cup barley
  • 1-liter milk
  • 1/2 cup dates/honey
  • 2 tbsp chopped nuts

Method of making a talbina recipe

  • Wash barley thoroughly and soak it for 3-4 hours.
  • Boil milk in a pan and add soaked barley to it.
  • Let it boil for 10 minutes.
  • Now add chopped and seedless dates for sweetness. If you are using honey, then add honey in the last step.
  • Cook for 10 more minutes.
  • After it is almost cooked, add chopped fruits and dry fruits of your choice.
