Ingredients need to make the stuffed parwal recipe

  • 250 grams parwal
  • 2 onions, grated
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 green chilies cut lengthwise
  • 1/4 tsp asafoetida
  • 1 tsp fennel powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • One tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 kg turmeric
  • 1 tsp red chili
  • 1/2 tsp amchur powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Method of making stuffed parwal recipe

  1. First of all wash and peel the parwal and take out the anus from inside it and keep it aside.
  2. Add grated onion, fennel powder, cumin, red chili, amchur powder, little oil, and salt to taste.
  3. Mix all the ingredients well and fill the prepared mixture by pressing it in the parwal.
  4. Put 3 tbsp oil in a pan and fry asafoetida, ginger garlic paste, and finely chopped onion lightly.
  5. Now put the stuffed parwal in it and let them cook on low flame with a lid.
  6. After a while, flip the parwal and cook it from the other side as well. Keep turning occasionally.
  7. For extra spice, sprinkle some red chili, turmeric, and garam masala on it and fry the parwal for some time.
  8. Sprinkle lemon juice and serve the fun parwal sabzi with roti or paratha.
