Ingredients need to make the rajma pakoda recipe

  • 250 gms kidney beans
  • 70 grams tomatoes
  • 50 grams onion
  • 2 green chilies
  • 30 grams coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 10 grams chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder
  • 50 grams oats
  • 30 grams breadcrumbs
  • Salt to taste
  • Soya refined oil for frying

Method of making rajma pakoda

  1. Soak the rajma overnight.
  2. Cook in the pressure cooker.
  3. Mash and add other ingredients except for oats and bread crumbs and mix well.
  4. Shape into small balls. Roll in crumb and oats mixture.
  5. Deep fry in oil till golden brown. Serve hot with tomato ketchup or mint chutney.
