Ingredients need to make mushroom noodles recipe

  • 200 grams noodles
  • 300-400 grams of mushrooms
  • 1/2 tbsp Garlic , chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger , chopped
  • 1 tsp green chili, cut into pieces
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper or white pepper
  • 1/2 cup Green Onion , chopped
  • 1-2 tsp ajwain (optional), finely chopped
  • 2 to 2.5 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar or regular vinegar
  • Green Onion Leaves for Garnish

Method of making mushroom noodles recipe

  1. Start by boiling the noodles lightly, and keep them aside.
  2. Heat oil in a wok or pan. On low to medium flame, first add chopped garlic, chopped ginger and chopped green chilies. You can increase the quantity of green chilies for a spicy taste in noodles.
  3. Fry for a few seconds, then add chopped green onions. Add both the white and green parts. Keep 2 tbsp greens for garnishing.
  4. Fry and fry the green onions till they become transparent. Then add chopped mushrooms.
  5. Stir the mushrooms well and fry on medium to high flame, while stirring occasionally. Mushrooms will release water while cooking.
  6. Fry it till all the water dries up and the mushrooms turn light golden from the edges. After that add ground black pepper to it.
  7. Now add soya sauce and mix well. Add noodles. Add salt.
  8. Toss the noodles while stirring well. Add rice vinegar or regular white vinegar. Shake and mix. Switch off the flame and finally add chopped green onion leaves.
  9. Stir once again and serve Mushroom Noodles Plain or Dry Veg Manchurian or Veg Manchurian Gravy or Veg Balls with Garlic Sauce.
