Ingredients need to make mixed veg stuffed jumbo paratha recipe

  • Wheat flour – 2 cups (300 grams)
  • Salt – a little more than 1/2 tsp
  • Oil – 2 tsp

For stuffing

  • Oil – 2 tsp
  • Cumin – 1/2 tsp
  • Green chili – 2, finely chopped
  • Fenugreek – 1 cup (125 grams)
  • Salt – a little more than 1/2 tsp
  • Boiled potatoes – 4, grated
  • Paneer – 100 grams, grated
  • Green coriander
  • Red chili – 1/4 tsp
  • Turmeric – 1/4 tsp

Method of making Mixed Veg Stuffed Jumbo Paratha

Process of making the Dough

  1. Put 2 cups wheat flour, a little more than tsp salt, and 2 tsp oil in a bowl. Mix them well and knead a soft dough by adding little by little water. After kneading, cover it and keep it for 20 minutes.

Process of Making the Stuffing

  1. Put 2 tsp oil in a pan and heat it. Put tsp cumin in hot oil and fry it lightly. Slow down the flame and add 2 finely chopped green chilies, remove the seeds, 1 tsp grated ginger, 1 cup finely chopped fenugreek, and a little more than tsp salt.
  2. Roast them for 1-1.5 minutes and add 4 boiled grated potatoes, 100 grams grated paneer, green coriander, tsp red chili, and tsp turmeric. Stir fry them for 3-4 minutes. After roasting, turn off the flame, take it out on a plate, and let it cool down.

Process of making Jumbo Paratha

  1. Take some oil on your hand and mash the dough well and make it smooth.
  2. Then break the dough and make round it like a peda.
  3. Now with the help of the thumb and finger give the shape of a bowl to the paratha.
  4. Fill in as much stuffing as possible.
  5. Then while raising the dough, close the dough and give it the shape of a peda.
  6. Now wrap it in dry flour and keep it on the wheel and press it with your fingers.
  7. After increasing, wrap it in dry flour and roll it slightly thick.
  8. Then heat the tawa and spread oil on it.
  9. Place the paratha on a hot griddle and roast it on low-medium flame.
  10. When the color becomes light from above, turn it over and roast it from the other side as well.
  11. Now spread it by pouring some oil on it, in the same way, turn it upside down and spread it by pouring oil on the other side as well.
  12. Cook it over and over till brown spots appear on both sides.
  13. Then take it off and bake the rest in the same way.
  14. In this way, jumbo parathas with lots of stuffing will be ready. Serve them with green chutney, curd, or raita, and enjoy the taste.
