  • 1-liter full cream milk
  • 30-40 saffron strands
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 tsp Almonds, chopped
  • 10 raisins

Method of making Kesar kheer recipe

  1. First, wash and soak the rice for at least 1.2 hours. Once done, sieve and keep aside.
  2. Now take a big pan, add milk to it and boil it on medium flame. Meanwhile, take a spoonful of milk from the pan, add saffron strands and mix. Keep the saffron mixture aside for further use.
  3. Chop almonds and pistachios. Put them in boiling milk. After that add cardamom powder.
  4. Then add soaked rice and milk powder. Shake it well. Add sugar and keep stirring for 5-6 minutes.
  5. Put in a bowl, add chopped nuts on top and enjoy.
