Ingredients need to make instant mango pickle recipe

  • 2-3 medium raw mangoes
  • 2 tsp Kashmiri chili powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp Roasted Fenugreek Powder

For tempering:

  • 3 tbsp gingelly oil
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/4 tsp asafoetida

Method of making instant mango pickle recipe

  1. First of all, wash the raw mangoes thoroughly. Then cut them into small pieces.
  2. Add salt, mix well and keep aside.
  3. Dry roast the fenugreek in a pan and grind it coarsely.
  4. Heat gingelly oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter slowly.
  5. The flame should not be very high, it should be low to medium so that the mustard seeds can burst slowly.
  6. Now, add asafoetida, fenugreek powder, Kashmiri chili powder, and turmeric powder, and switch off the gas.
  7. Mix it well.
  8. Pour the tempering into the pickle.
