Ingredients need to make the dragon chicken recipe

For Marinade:

  • 350 g breast strips
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour

For Stir-fry:

  • 1 tsp Garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp red chili sauce
  • One medium onion (chopped)
  • Medium red capsicum (cut into pieces)
  • 1/4 cup cashew nuts
  • 1/2 tsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp tomato ketchup
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp cornflour
  • 1/4 gram water
  • Medium green capsicum (cut into pieces)
  • Green Onions (for garnishing)

Method of making dragon chicken recipe

  1. For the marinade: Put all the ingredients in a bowl. Mix well and set aside. Make sure there are no lumps.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, for frying the marinated chicken strips lightly.
  3. Now, add chicken strips one at a time and fry them on medium flame till they turn golden brown.
  4. For Stir Fry: Heat oil in a pan on high flame. Add garlic and red chili paste. Fry for 1-2 minutes on high flame.
  5. Add onion, and, capsicum, and fry well.
  6. Add vinegar, soy sauce, ketchup, and salt. Mix well.
  7. In a separate bowl mix cornflour and water. Put it in the pan. Cook till the sauce thickens.
  8. Add the fried chicken strips and toss to mix well. Add green onions and cashews on top of it. Serve hot and enjoy!
