Ingredients need to make dhaniya murgh recipe

  • 1200 gms Boneless Chicken Thai
  • 1 cup ghee
  • 5 tbsp ginger, finely chopped
  • 5 green chilies, cut into pieces
  • 3 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 1/2 tbsp cumin powder
  • 2 1/2 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 1/2 tbsp degi chili
  • 1/2 tsp yellow chili powder
  • 1/2 tbsp kasoori methi (dried)
  • 1 1/2 liters of chicken stock
  • 1 1/2 cups curd
  • 3/4 cup brown onions
  • 1/2 cup roasted masala
  • 1 cup fried cashew paste
  • 2 tbsp coriander seeds
  • 3/4 cup coriander leaves (with root)
  • One tsp garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp green cardamom powder
  • 1 1/2 fresh cream

Method of making dhaniya murgh recipe

  1. Clean and cut the chicken.
  2. Heat ghee in a vessel. Add ginger, chili, and ginger garlic paste and fry.
  3. Add chicken and fry till it turns brown.
  4. Then add salt, turmeric, cumin powder, coriander powder, degi mirch, yellow chili, and kasoori methi.
  5. Add some chicken stock and cook the mixture.
  6. When the mixture dries up, take out the chicken and keep it on heat.
  7. Now add curd, brown onion, roasted masala, cashew paste, ground coriander, and green coriander in it. Cook till the masala leaves the oil.
  8. Now add chicken and chicken stock and cook on low flame till the chicken is cooked.
  9. Add garam masala powder and green cardamom powder.
  10. Finish with cream, and coriander seeds. serve hot.
