Ingredients need to make the chicken katsu burger recipe

For Tonkatsu Sauce

  • 240ml rice wine vinegar
  • 120 ml honey
  • 60 ml dark soy sauce
  • 15 grams of onion powder
  • 3 grams crushed black pepper
  • 60 grams of Worcestershire sauce
  • 370 g tomato ketchup

For the panko bread chicken

  • 160 g chicken leg boneless
  • 30 grams flour
  • 50 ml egg wash (egg yolk and water)

Burger set up

  • 1 burger bun
  • 30 ml butter
  • 30ml Tonkatsu Sauce
  • 1 piece tonkatsu sauce
  • 1/4 cup pickled onions
  • 4 pickled cucumbers, sliced
  • 1 piece fried panko chicken
  • 15 ml Tonkatsu Sauce
  • 142 grams french fry
  • Vegetable pickle
  • 1/4 cup thick slices of onion
  • 4 cucumbers, sliced
  • 6 whole black peppers
  • 2 Tejpat
  • 15 ml. vinegar
  • 8 grams sugar
  • 4 sprigs thyme

Method of making chicken katsu burger recipe

  1. Cut the burger bun and roast it by applying butter from both sides.
  2. Sprinkle about 30 ml of tonkatsu sauce on the bottom of the bun.
  3. Now place the iceberg lettuce on the bun.
  4. Place homemade cucumber and onion pieces on top of the salad.
  5. Place the crispy fried burger on top of the pickled vegetable.
  6. Sprinkle tonkatsu sauce over fried patties.
  7. Place the top bun on top of the patty.
