Ingredients need to make the chicken kabsa recipe
- 5 pieces chicken
- 1/2 cup rice
- 1 onion
- 1/2 cup tomato puree
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tbsp dry fruits, fried
- 1 tsp garam masala
- One tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 3 small cardamoms
- 3 cloves
- 5 black pepper
- 1 cinnamon stick
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp oil
Method of making chicken kabsa recipe
- Heat oil in a pan and fry cardamom, black pepper, and cinnamon stick for two seconds.
- Then add onion and ginger-garlic paste and fry for some time.
- Now add coriander powder, garam masala, red chili powder, and cumin powder and mix it.
- Add tomato puree and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, add salt and mix, then add chicken pieces. Cook for 10 minutes, add water and let the chicken cook for some time.
- Remove the pieces of chicken and keep them aside. Mix the rice in it and let it cook completely with the lid on.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken pieces for some time.
- Take out the rice on a serving plate and place the fried chicken pieces, garnish with fried almonds and serve.
