  • 250 gms potatoes
  • 250 grams processed cheese
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper salt
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 100 grams onion
  • 200 grams tomatoes
  • 10 almonds
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 tbsp low fat cream
  • 1/2 tsp sugar salt

Method of making aloo kofta recipe

  1. Boil potatoes and mash them. Add grated paneer, corn starch, salt, pepper. Mix it well, shape it into koftas and fry. Keep it aside.
  2. Blanch tomatoes, onions, and almonds. Grind them into a smooth paste.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and fry bay leaves and cumin seeds.
  4. Add tomato-onion-almond paste. Add ginger-garlic paste and mix well.
  5. Then add turmeric powder, chili powder, coriander powder to it. Put water in the pan and let the gravy come to a boil.
  6. Add sugar, salt, cream, garam masala, kasoori methi. Let it cook for some time.
  7. After the gravy is ready, transfer it to a serving bowl and add fried potato koftas.
