  • 500 gms prawns
  • 1 medium onion , finely chopped
  • 8-9 curry leaves
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste

Method of making royyala vepudu recipe

  1. Wash and dry the prawns thoroughly. Marinate the prawns with some salt, turmeric and red chili powder and let it sit for some time.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin, curry leaves and chopped onions. Stir till it becomes soft.
  3. Add all the dry spices like turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala and salt as per taste. Mix well.
  4. Add prawns and mix well. Cover and cook till the gravy dries up.
  5. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves and curry leaves. Serve hot with roti or rice.
