Ingredients need to make aloo cheela recipe

  • 1 potato, grated
  • 2 tbsp gram flour
  • 1 tbsp semolina
  • 1 tbsp cornflour
  • 1/4 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp Onion , finely chopped
  • 1 green chili, finely chopped
  • Red chili powder as per taste
  • 1/4 tsp coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying

Method of making aloo cheela recipe

  1. Take a potato, peel it and grate it and after keeping it in water for some time, filter it and squeeze it.
  2. Take grated potato in a bowl, add gram flour, semolina, cornflour, onion, green chili and all the spices and mix it well.
  3. Spread a little oil in a pan, pour the prepared potato mixture on it and spread it in a circular motion.
  4. Pour some oil on it and cook for two minutes with the lid on.
  5. Remove the lid and cook the cheela on the other side till it turns golden crispy brown.
  6. Serve with green chutney and enjoy it.
