Method of making masala vada recipe

  1. Soak soybeans overnight and soak peas for two hours.
  2. Drain the water completely and mix both the beans.
  3. Coarsely grind the beans and green chilies with water as much as possible.
  4. Add chopped onion, grated ginger, and salt to the batter and mix well.
  5. Make vadas from the batter (about two tablespoons each) and deep fry them in hot oil till golden brown.
