Ingredients need to make dirty almond rice recipe
- 1/2 cup whole almonds
- 1 cup boiled rice
- 2 tbsp Onion , chopped
- 1 tbsp red capsicum, cut into pieces
- 1 tsp green capsicum
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp pav bhaji masala
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
- 1 tbsp desi ghee
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp cumin
Method of making darty almond rice
- Roast the whole almonds in a preheated oven at 180 degree Celsius for 4 minutes and cut them into pieces when they cool down.
- Heat desi ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds. Then add chopped onion, chopped red capsicum, chopped green capsicum, pav bhaji masala and fry for 10-12 seconds.
- Now add cooked rice and toss well. Mix the seasonings well.
- Finish with butter, freshly chopped coriander leaves and squeeze lemon juice.
- Put rice in a serving bowl and garnish with chopped almonds.
- Serve hot.
