  • 2 liters milk, full cream
  • 120 grams rice
  • 40 grams grain sugar
  • Few drops of rose water
  • 10 grams dried rose petals
  • 100 grams almonds
  • 25 grams almond silver

Method of making Almond and rose kheer

  1. Soak the rice in water for 20 minutes.
  2. Heat the milk in a pan, after it boils, lowers the flame and let the milk cook till it reduces to half.
  3. Drain the rice water, add it to the milk, and cook on low flame until it gets cooked completely and thickens.
  4. Add chopped almonds to it and cook on low flame for 15 minutes till it thickens, add sugar to it.
  5. Keep it aside to cool down. Once it cools down, add rose water and mix it. Keep in the fridge before serving.
  6. Bake the almond silver in the oven at 180 degrees for 5 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Before serving, garnish it with silver and dry rose petals.
