Creamed Chicken Recipe

Ingredients need to make creamed chicken recipe

  • 1 kg Chicken
  • 1 ml water
  • Half inch cinnamon
  • 3-4 cloves
  • Two big cardamom
  • Some black peppercorns
  • Some green cardamom
  • Salt to taste
To grind
  • 1/3 tsp black pepper
  • 4-5 Green Cardamom
  • Some cloves
  • Half inch cinnamon
To base
  • 3 tsp refined oil
  • 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/3 tsp cumin powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp kasoori methi
  • Some coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp cashew paste
  • 1 tbsp garam masala
  • 200 g cream
  • 1 tsp black peppercorns
  • 4-5 Green Cardamom

Method of making creamed chicken

  1. Add chicken and all the spices in one liter of water and cook it well.
  2. Dry roast by adding black peppercorns, green cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon.
  3. Grind them in a mortar and make a powder.
To base
  1. Heat oil in a pan, add ginger-garlic paste, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt, and fry it lightly.
  2. Now add Kasuri methi and a little water and cook till it becomes soft.
  3. Add chopped coriander leaves.
  4. Now mix cashew paste with other ingredients in it.
  5. Take out the other ingredients from the chicken water and mix it in the main ingredients
  6. Now add garam masala and two teaspoons of cream and mix it.
  7. Now add the cooked chicken to it and cook on a low flame for 20 minutes till the chicken becomes soft.
  8. Add the remaining cream and cook on a low flame till it becomes thick.
  9. Grind black pepper and cardamom and serve over creamed chicken.
