Palak Soya Bhurji Recipe – Spinach Soya Granules Keema

Palak Soya Bhurji: Spinach Soya bhurji with iron, minerals, and protein, great flavor.

Necessary ingredients need to make Palak Soya Bhurji

  • Spinach – 250 grams
  • Tomato – 3 (200 grams)
  • Green chili – 1
  • Ginger slice – ½ inch
  • Soya chunks – 1 cup (50 grams)
  • Refined oil – 2 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds – 4 teaspoons
  • Asafoetida – 1 pinch
  • Turmeric powder – 4 tsp
  • Coriander Powder – ½ tsp
  • Red chili powder – less than 4 teaspoons
  • Kasuri Methi – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – 4 teaspoons or as per taste
  • Garam masala – less than 4 teaspoons

Method of making Palak Soya Bhurji

  1. Chop the spinach finely. After this, grind tomatoes, ginger, and green chilies and prepare a paste.
  2. Put soya chunk in a small skillet and crush it into 3 to 4 pieces. 
  3. Take out the crushed soya chunks in a bowl and crush all the soya chunks in the same way.
  4. To make the vegetable, heat a pan and add 1 tbsp oil to it. 
  5. When the oil is hot, add broken soya chunks to the pan. 
  6. Roast them on medium flame while stirring continuously until they change their color slightly. 
  7. As soon as the chunks turn light brown, add 1 cup of water to it and cover it and let it cook on low heat till the water runs out. 
  8. Run and check them in between.
  9. Meanwhile, prepare tomato masala. Heat a pan on the gas. 
  10. Heat the remaining oil in the pan. Add cumin seeds to the hot oil and reduce the flame. 
  11. After this, add asafetida, turmeric powder, coriander powder to the oil and fry the spices very lightly. 
  12. Then, add tomato-green chili-ginger paste and red chili powder to the spices. 
  13. Stir and roast it on low and medium flame till the oil separates from the spices. 
  14. After this, add Kasuri Methi to the spices and fry it while stirring continuously.
  15. Once the water has dried and flowered from the chunks, add roasted spices and mix. 
  16. Also add chopped spinach, salt, and garam masala. Mix all the ingredients well. 
  17. After this, cover and cook the vegetable for 2 to 3 minutes.
  18. After 3 minutes, check the vegetable. 
  19. If light water is visible in the vegetable, then let it cook for 1 minute and open. 
  20. Stir the vegetable in a little while. Add chopped coriander to the vegetable and mix. 
  21. The vegetable is ready. Take it out in a bowl.
  22. Garnish the vegetable with green coriander. Spinach Soya Chunks Bhurji is ready to be served. 
  23. You can serve this vegetable with chapatti, naan, parantha, rice, or anyone. 
  24. Such as vegetable side dish is enough for 4 to 5 family members.

  • Kasuri fenugreek enhances the taste of spinach.
  • While roasting the masala, keep in mind that it does not burn.
  • You can make vegetables according to your taste by reducing or increasing the number of spices in the vegetable. If you like less spicy, you can remove the green chilies, or if you like green chilies, then you can reduce the quantity of garam masala and if you like hot, then you can increase the number of red chilies.
