Delicious Club Kachori Recipe at Home

Club Kachori: Eat club kachori with potato pumpkin vegetable for a hot breakfast or at dinner whenever you want.

 

Necessary ingredients need to make Club Kachori

To make kachori

  • Refined flour – 2 cups (250 grams)
  • Curd – ½ cup
  • Urad Dal – ½ cup (100 grams) (soaked)
  • Semolina – ½ cup (90 grams)
  • Salt – 1 tsp
  • Oil – 1 tsp
  • Green chili – 3
  • Ginger – inch piece
  • Asafoetida – ½ pinch
  • Oil – for frying kachoris

To make vegetable

  • Potatoes – 2 (200 grams)
  • Pumpkin – 200 grams
  • Paste – Tomato, Ginger, Green Chilli
  • Oil – 2-3 tbsp
  • Coriander – 2-3 tbsp (finely chopped)
  • Panch Foran Masala – Kalonchi (½ tsp), fenugreek (¼ tsp), mustard seeds (¼ tsp), cumin (¼ tsp), fennel (¼ tsp)
  • Kasuri Methi – 2 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder – 4 teaspoons
  • Red chili powder – ½ tsp
  • Garam Masala – 4 teaspoons
  • Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
  • Mango powder – 4 teaspoons

Method of making Club Kachori

  1. Wash the urad dal thoroughly, soak it in clean water for 1 hour. 
  2. After 1 hour removes the excess water from the lentils.
  3. Take a mixer jar, add lentils to it, cut green chilies in a thick paste, and put ginger in it too. 
  4. Grind the lentils coarsely. Dal paste is ready.
  5. Take refined flour in a big bowl. 
  6. Add the paste of lentils, add semolina, curd, 1 teaspoon salt, asafoetida and mix everything well and make a stiff dough. (Water is not required to knead the dough). 
  7. Now add 1 spoon of oil and mash the flour very well. 
  8. Cover the dough and keep it for 15 to 20 minutes so that the dough becomes puffed and set.

Make vegetables

  1. Peel and wash the potatoes, and cut them into pieces. 
  2. Wash and cut the pumpkin as well.
  3. Grind tomatoes, green chilies, and ginger to make a paste.
  4. Put 2 tablespoons of oil in the cooker and heat it. Fry the spices lightly by adding panch fours spices in hot oil. 
  5. After frying the spices, add tomato paste, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and kasoori methi and fry the spices till the oil starts separating from the spices.
  6. After the oil separates from the spices, add chopped potatoes and pumpkin to it and mix well with the spices and fry it a little. 
  7. Now add 1 cup of water, salt, garam masala, mango powder, and sugar. 
  8. Stir with a spoon and close the cooker. 
  9. After one whistle in the cooker, reduce the flame and let the vegetable cook for 2 minutes. 
  10. After 2 minutes the vegetable is ready, turn off the gas.

Make poori

  1. After 20 minutes the dough is set and ready. 
  2. Apply a little oil on the hands and mash the flour to make it smooth. 
  3. After smoothing the dough, break it into small pieces and make the dough. 
  4. To make them, first, increase the dough lengthwise and then keep breaking the small balls.
  5. To fry the puris, put enough oil in the pan and keep it warm.
  6. Prepare the peda by rounding all the dough. Similarly, make all the balls round and later, flatten them slightly. 
  7. Pick a peda and apply some oil on the chalk to smooth it. 
  8. Now place the dough on the chakla. Prepare by rolling it a little thicker, 2.5 to 3 inches in diameter.
  9. The oil is also hot. To check this, break a little flour and put it in the hot oil. If it floats, the oil has heated well. 
  10. Now, put the poori in the pan. To fluff it, press it gently with a spoon. 
  11. Turn the poori on medium flame and fry till it becomes golden brown.
  12. After getting golden brown from both sides, take out the poori on a plate. 
  13. Similarly, prepare all the pooris by rolling and frying them. 
  14. About 24 pooris are prepared with this much flour. Hot and hot pooris are ready.
  15. After the pressure of the cooker is over, open the lid, and add green coriander to the vegetable. 
  16. Take out the potato vegetable in a bowl. Serve hot potato sabzi with kachori and eat.

Suggestion for Club Kachori

  • You can also take wheat flour instead of maida for kachori
