Sabudana Kheer Recipe | Easy Sabudana Dessert for Fast
Sabudana Kheer Recipe: You can make saffron-made saffron kheer recipe on any fast and festival and feed it to the family.
Necessary ingredients need to make Sabudana Kheer Recipe
- Sago – ½ cup (100 grams)
- Milk – 1 liter
- Sugar – 4 cups (75 grams)
- Cashews – 10-12
- Almonds – 10-12
- Raisins – 2 tsp
- Saffron threads – 15-20
- Cardamom – 5-6
- Pistachios – 15-20
Method of making Sabudana Kheer Recipe
- Wash sago thoroughly and soak it in clean water for 1 hour. After 1 hour remove the excess water from the sago, soaked sago is ready.
- Cut almonds thinly, also cut cashew into small pieces.
- Finely chop the pistachios and prepare them.
- Peel cardamom and make powder of its seeds.
- Put a little milk in saffron threads, it leaves its color.
- To make Kheer, put 1 liter milk in a big vessel to heat it on gas.
- When the milk boils, add soaked sago to it.
- Stir continuously on high flame until it comes to a boil and cook while stirring.
- When milk starts to boil, add raisins to it and also add some almonds, cashew and saffron milk and mix it.
- Cook the milk on medium flame till it becomes thick.
- Keep stirring the kheer in between so that it does not stick to the bottom of the pot.
- Kheer is well prepared, add sugar and cardamom powder to it and mix it well.
- Allow the kheer to cook for another 1-2 minutes.
- Kheer is ready, turn off the gas and let it cool slightly.
- When the kheer cools down, take it out in a bowl.
- Garnish the kheer with almonds, pistachios.
- Delicious saffron sago kheer is ready.
- Whenever you feel like making Kheer and enjoy its taste.

- Sometimes, milk is also cracked from sago, when the sago is added to the milk to prevent it from bursting, cook the milk continuously until it boils.
