Necessary ingredients need to make Tofu Butter Masala Recipe

  • Tofu (or Paneer) – 250 grams
  • Cashews – 20
  • Tomato-2
  • Green chili – 2
  • Ginger – 1-inch long piece
  • Butter – 4 tbsp
  • Curd – 100 grams (1/2 cup)
  • Cumin powder – a small spoon
  • Coriander powder – a small spoon
  • Turmeric powder – half a teaspoon
  • Red chili powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Garam Masala – less than a quarter teaspoon
  • Sugar – half a teaspoon
  • Milk – 1-2 cups
  • Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp (finely chopped)

Method of making Tofu Butter Masala Recipe

  1. Cut the tofu into chocor pieces and put a big spoon of butter in a nonstick pan and fry them lightly. 
  2. Soak cashew nuts in water for half an hour, take cashew nuts out of the water and grind them to a fine paste. 
  3. Wash the tomatoes, break the stems of the green chilies and wash them. 
  4. Peel and wash the ginger, finely grind it all and make a paste. 
  5. Mix curd and stir the mixture once again. 
  6. Tofu Butter Masala Heat 2 spoons of butter in a pan, add cumin powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and tomato, curd paste to the hot butter, and fry for 3-4 minutes. 
  7. Add the remaining butter, cashew paste, red chili powder, and garam masala and fry till the ghee floats over the spices. 
  8. According to how thick you want the curry to be, add cold milk little by little to the spices. 
  9. And cook the gravy while stirring continuously. 
  10. After boiling, add salt and garam masala to the curry, now add the pieces of tofu, after boiling again, cook for 3-4 minutes so that all the spices and the curry juices go into the pieces of tofu. 
  11. Take your Tofu Butter Masala vegetable ready. 
  12. Take out the Tofu Paneer Butter Masala in a bowl and garnish the vegetable by putting chopped green coriander over it. 
  13. Serve hot Tofu Paneer Butter Masala with vegetable chapatti, paranthas, poori, naan, or rice and eat.
