Delicious Dry Mushroom Manchurian Recipe at Home

Mushroom Manchurian: Anyone who likes mushrooms will surely like the mushroom Manchurian. It is high in protein, so it is perfect for serving children. It is good party food and cabbage is also a favorite alternative to Manchurian. Follow the step by step recipe below to make mushroom Manchurian dry at home.

Method of preparation of Mushroom Manchurian

  • Pre-Preparation Time: 10 minutes

  • For how many people: 4

Materials need to make Mushroom Manchurian:

  • 4 tablespoons corn floor
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 250 g fresh mushroom (white button mushroom)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp soy sauce
  • Oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 tablespoons water

To roast:

  • 1/2 tsp garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 Green Chilli, finely chopped
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped green onions
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1½ Tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons tomato ketchup
  • Salt

Method of making Mushroom Manchurian:

  1. Wash the mushrooms with water to clean them. Wipe them well with a kitchen towel and cut them into medium pieces.
  2. In a bowl, add flour, cornflour, ginger paste, garlic paste, 1/2 tsp soy sauce, salt, and 4 tablespoons water. 
  3. Mix well and make a medium thick batter. Pour the mushrooms into the prepared solution and apply them well.
  4. Heat the oil in a deep pan. Fry them in oil until they begin to turn lightly golden on medium heat. 
  5. Do not fry them for a long time otherwise, they will start releasing water and oil splashes can fly. 
  6. Remove them from the oil and soak up the excess oil with paper napkins.

To roast:

  1. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a broad, thin-bottomed pan on high heat. Add ginger paste, garlic paste, chopped green chilies, and chopped onion. Fry it for 1-2 minutes on high flame.
  2. Add soy sauce, tomato ketchup, chili sauce, salt, fried mushroom pieces, and green onions. Mix well.
  3. Mix and cook them while tossing. Cook for 1-2 minutes tossing everything. 
  4. Delicious dry mushroom Manchurian is ready.

Suggestions and Variations of Mushroom Manchurian:

  • After frying, do not keep the fried mushrooms for a long time otherwise they will become soft as they release little water after cooking.
  • We have used white button mushrooms to make this spicy dish. However, you can use any type of mushroom you eat.
  • Chili sauce and soy sauce add a basic flavor to any Manchurian. You can use both of these sauces more or less to add the desired taste.

Taste: Soft and soft crushed mushrooms with dried and pungent spices

Ways to Serve: Serve with fried rice like a side dish. When served with mint chutney or tomato ketchup, it alone becomes a delicious snack.
