Beetroot and Coconut Dumplings Recipe: This is nothing short of a treat during the winter season. You can prepare special snacks with Chakundar at home. These sweet dumplings have been prepared with lentils, cardamom, and coconut along with the benefits of chakundar and coconut.

Ingredients need to make Beetroot and Coconut Dumplings

  • 100 gms Chakundar
  • 80 grams fresh coconut, grated
  • 2 grams of cinnamon powder
  • 2 grams of cinnamon powder
  • 30 grams of honey
  • 15 ml Ghee

Method of making beetroot and coconut dumplings

  1. Heat a pan, add ghee and grated chakundar to it.
  2. Fry it and add honey to it. Cook the chakundar and allow it to turn into a dry thick mixture.
  3. Add half the grated coconut and mix well.
  4. Add cinnamon and cardamom powder.
  5. Mix it well for 4 to 5 minutes, turn off the heat and let it cool.
  6. Cut it in shape and coat it with grated coconut.
  7. Keep in the fridge to cool for 30 minutes.
