  • 1/2 cup maida
  • 1/2 cup wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp ghee
  • salt to taste

Ingredients for potato roll

  • 2 cups boiled and mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 cup boiled and mashed green peas
  • 3/4 cup grated processed cheese
  • 1/4 cup cornflour
  • 2 tsp finely chopped green chilies
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • Cornflour, for rolling

Ingredients to make masala water by mixing (using 1/4 cup water)

  • 2 tsp mango powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste

Ingredients for making onion masala mixture by mixing

  • 3/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp amchur powder
  • Salt to taste

Method of making Rotis

  1. Combine all ingredients in a deep bowl and knead into a soft dough using enough water. Cover the dough with the lid and keep it aside for 15 minutes.
  2. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions.
  3. Take a portion of the flour for 150 minutes. 4-inch diameter circle using a little flour.
  4. Heat a non-stick griddle and cook the roti with some oil.
  5. Repeat method numbers 3 and 4 to make 4 more loaves.

Method of making potato rolls

  1. In a deep bowl, mix all the ingredients well.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal parts and give each part a cylindrical shape.
  3. Roll them in the cornflour until they are evenly coated from all sides.
  4. Heat the oil in a deep non-stick pan, fry a few rolls at a time on a medium flame until they are golden brown all around. Take out on a tissue paper and set aside.
