Ingredients need to Nilgiri Turkey Korma

  • 750 gms Turkey Meat
  • 100 gms Spinach
  • 1 bunch peppermint leaves
  • 2 bunch coriander leaves
  • 10 Green Chillies
  • 150 gms onion
  • 250 gms Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 10 gms royal cumin
  • 100 gms yogurt
  • 100 gms coconut paste
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 10 gms garam masala powder
  • 100 ml of oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Water

The method of making Nilgiri turkey korma

  1. Put turkey meat, salt, turmeric powder, and water in a cooker.
  2. Turn it off and let the two whistles come. When the turkey boils, keep it aside.
  3. Now put spinach, mint, coriander, green chili, and a little bit of water in a mixer jar and grind it.
  4. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin, chopped onion, ginger garlic paste and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Add boiled turkey and mix well. Now add fresh curry leaves and mix and cook for 10 minutes.
  6. After ten minutes, add coconut paste. Now oil will start leaking.
  7. Now mix yogurt. Stir the paste prepared with salt, spinach and mix well for 5 minutes. Cook till it smells.
  8. Add a glass of water to it and mix it. Add coriander powder and mix.
  9. Cook with a lid for 9.10 minutes.
  10. After 10.10 minutes, remove the lid and mix.
  11. When the curry is almost ready, add garam masala and mix. Add fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
