Ingredients for making pudina rice or mint rice: Mint rice is very easy to make, you can make these rice in just 25 minutes for lunch or dinner. Can eat comfortably. You can make this dish by adding rice, mint leaves, onion, salt, and lemon juice. You can also try Tomato Rice.

Ingredients of pudina rice or mint rice

  • 2 cups (soaked one hour before) rice
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 2 tablespoons mint leaves paste
  • Few drops of lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp oil

How to make Pudina Rice or Mint Rice 

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds.
  2. Add onion and fry till it becomes pink.
  3. Add the paste of onion and mint to it and after running for a while, add 3 cups of water.
  4. Let it boil for some time, add lemon juice to it, cover the pan and cook on low heat.
  5. In 5.10 minutes the rice will be cooked and ready.
You can also serve pudina rice with mint raita or plain yogurt.
