Pudina chutney recipe or Mint chutney recipe: Mint chutney is a popular pudina chutney. This chutney is served the most with staters and snacks. If you get chutney with food, it tastes even more. Mint chutney is eaten with great fervor in North India. If the sauce is mixed with rice, casserole, or khichdi, then the taste of food increases. You can make mint chutney in 20 minutes.

Ingredients for making pudina chutney or mint chutney: This chutney is prepared quickly by mixing mint, cumin, onion, and curd. If you like to eat spicily then you can increase the number of green chilies in the chutney according to yourself.

Mint chutney is a very tasty chutney made from fresh mint leaves, coriander leaves, ginger, and garlic. It is very easy to make and can be made in 5-10 minutes. This chutney can be served with dishes like dry paneer tikka, khaman dhokla, samosa, kachori, sandwiches, etc.

Materials need to make Pudina chutney

  • 1/2 cup mint addresses
  • 1 cup chopped coriander leaves
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 green chilies, chopped
  • 1/4 inch piece of ginger
  • 1 tsp sugar (optional)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tablespoon water

Method of making Pudina chutney

  1. Mix garlic (chutney jar) in a small jar, take garlic, chili, ginger, sugar, and salt.
  2. Grind them coarsely.
  3. Add green coriander, mint leaves, lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon water.
  4. Grind them again until fine (fine or coarse, as per your liking). Delicious mint chutney is ready for the sandwich.
  5. Serve it with Dhokla. You can keep it in a box in the fridge for 3-4 days.

Suggestions and Variations of pudina chutney recipe

  • Add 3-tablespoons water to make the chutney for bhel puri or samosa chaat.
  • To make thick chutney, add 2-tsp oatmeal (roasted chana dal) or peanuts in step-1.
  • To make a mint dip for pakoras or sandwiches, add 2-tablespoon curd.
  • To make Mint chutney for dosa, add 1/2 cup fresh grated coconut to step-1.
  • Traditionally use kharl instead of mixing to make chutney and taste great.
