Ingredients of chicken do pyaza

For Chicken:
  • 1 kg Chicken
  • 2 onions
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1 ½ tbsp desi ghee
  • 2 ½ tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 small cup curd
  • 1 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
To garnish:
  • 3 tablespoons cream
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp mint leaves
  • 1 tbsp kasoori methi
  • 1 tbsp green chilies, sliced
  • Salt
To make Garam Masala:
  • 1 tbsp green cardamom powder
  • 1 tbsp mace powder
  • 1 tbsp clove powder
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 tsp large cardamom powder

How to make chicken do pyaza

To prepare Garam Masala:
  1. Mix green cardamom powder, mace, cloves, cinnamon, and big cardamom padaur together, garam masala is ready for chicken.
To make chicken:
  1. Cut chicken into equal pieces, add garlic ginger paste, salt, and red chili powder and marinate the chicken.
  2. Cut onion into long pieces.
  3. Grind tomatoes and make the puree.
  4. Heat desi ghee in a pan and add garlic-ginger paste to it.
  5. When brown, add onions and cook until they turn golden brown. 
  6. Now add tomato puree and salt to it, according to your test.
  7. Take yogurt in a bowl, add turmeric and chili and mix well. 
  8. Now put this mixture in the tomato puree and cook for a while.
  9. After that add coriander powder, cumin powder, marinated chicken, chopped onion, garam masala. 
  10. Add water and cook for a while.
To garnish:
  1. Heat the cream, add green coriander, mint, green chili, and kasoori methi. 
  2. Now serve it hot by putting it on the chicken.
