Necessary Ingredients to make Crispy Szechuan chicken
- 1 boneless chicken breast
- 4 small teaspoons of Sagewan sauce
- 1 cup Cornflower / Cornstarch
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 Corn flour
- 1 cup oil
Method of making Crispy Szechuan chicken
- Heat oil in a pan as required.
- Cut two equal pieces of chicken breast and set them aside on a plate.
- Apply 1 teaspoon of Sagewan sauce on each piece and rub it well and then on the other side also apply 1 teaspoon of Sagewan sauce.
- Combine cornstarch and water in a bowl and whisk to make a thick batter.
- Spread all-purpose flour on a plate and wrap the pieces of chicken in a fine flour.
- Remove cornflour on another plate and keep aside.
- Now heat oil in a pan and wrap chicken pieces in cornstarch paste and then add light cornflour and deep fry it.
- Similarly, wrap the second piece of chicken in corn paste and apply cornflour and deep fry it.
- ake out the pieces of deep-fried chicken on Absorbent paper so that extra oil is removed.
- Cut both pieces of chicken into three to four pieces and keep them out on a serving plate.
- Serve hot by putting the remaining Szechwan sauce on the pieces properly.
