Mutton fry recipe | how to make Mutton fry | Mutton chukka: Mutton Fry made with aromatic spices is a delicious Andhra dish. This delicious recipe can be served both as a main dish or a snack at a dinner party. Apart from this, this mutton dish can also be made during Eid or Diwali party. 

This delicious Fry's can be made with simple ingredients in less than an hour. It is quite easy to make. 

Ingredients for making mutton fry: While making it, a lot of spices are added to it, which is the most poppy paste, though it is optional.

 The savory paste is made from horse gram which is a good source of protein. Along with this, the spices make it a great dish. Garnish with green coriander and serve it.

Mutton chukka or Fry Ingredients

  • 500 grams Mutton, finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp red chili powder
  • 4 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 cup of water
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons (optional) Ultraviolet paste
  • To create a base:
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 6-7 cloves
  • 1-inch cinnamon stick
  • 6-7 Green Cardamom
  • 2 tsp garam masala
  • 10-15 curry leaves
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 4-5 green chilies, chopped
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing
  • Green Onions for Garnishing

Method of making Easy Mutton fry | Mutton chukka

  1. Heat four tablespoons of oil in a pan and lightly brown the mutton.
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste, salt, red chili, cilantro paste and turmeric powder to it.
  3. Cook it on a medium flame for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring it occasionally.
  4. Add it to the pressure cooker and cook for 20 to 25 minutes or until 4 to 5 whistles come. Until the mutton turns soft.
To create a base:
  1. Heat oil in another pan, add cinnamon, green cardamom, and cloves and let it crackle.
  2. Add green chili to it, after that add onion and curry leaves.
  3. Fry it for 5 to 6 minutes and add salt.
  4. Cook on low heat for 6 to 8 minutes, until onion becomes soft.
  5. Now add cooked mutton to this base and mix well.
  6. Sprinkle garam masala in it and cook for 7 to 8 minutes so that all the flavorers are covered in the mutton.
  7. Garnish by adding green coriander.
  8. Serve hot with Chawal or Mutton Biryani.
