Ingredients for Chicken Pulao Recipe

  • 900 grams of chicken
  • 5 Raw Garlic
  • 8 Green Cardamom
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • 7 Green Chilies
  • 6 cloves
  • 3 cups basmati rice
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • 5 cups of water
  • 3-inch ginger
  • 6 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 6 fennel seeds
  • 4tablespoons curd
  • 2 chopped onions
  • Salt to taste

For decoration

  • 1 lemon
  • 8 coriander leaves

How to make chicken Pulao Recipe

  1. Chicken casserole is the life of every party. This recipe does not require any introduction. Here we are telling you the easiest way to make this recipe. To make this recipe at home, first cut all the vegetables and peel them. Now add ginger and garlic in a small mortar and make a paste, after which cut the chicken into pieces.
  2. Now put garam masala, red chili powder, salt, turmeric powder and half a ginger-garlic paste in a bowl. Mix it well, the marinade is ready. Now marinate the pieces of chicken in this marinade and set aside for 20 minutes to set.
  3. On medium heat add oil in a non-stick pan.
  4. Now add bay leaves, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, green chili, and fennel and mix well. After this, add chopped onion and fry it lightly. Fry onion on medium heat till it becomes shiny and translucent.
  5. Now, add marinated chicken to this mixture and fry till all the ingredients are mixed with the marinated chicken. Then add curd and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  6. After this, add 5 cups of water, turmeric powder, and remaining ginger-garlic paste. Add salt to it and mix well. Slowly cook the rice while stirring.
  7. When the rice is cooked, put the casserole in a serving plate and squeeze the lemon juice in it. Serve the chicken casserole garnished with coriander leaves.
