Chili Paneer is a delicious Indian-Chinese dish served as a starter or as a snack. When served as a side dish with fried rice or sejavan rice, it tastes somewhat different. 

The recipe consists of dry chili paneer, in which the paneer is marinated and fried in oil (either shallow fried) and later cooked with Chinese sauce, green bell peppers, and onions. Come, today we know how to make Chilli Paneer at home with the help of this easy recipe.

Ingredients for Chilli Paneer Gravy Recipe

  • Paneer - 1 1/2 cups (Pieces)
  • Red chili powder - 1/2 T spoon
  • Corn Flour - 2 Tablespoon (Corn flour)
  • Flour - 1 Tablespoon (Maida)
  • Ginger paste - 1 T spoon (Ginger paste)
  • Salt - Salt
  • Oil - As per Minor

For Sauce of Chilli Paneer

  • Onion - 1 (onion)
  • Green Capsicum - 1/2 cup (Pieces)
  • Red Capsicum - 1/2 cup (Pieces)
  • Green chili - 2 (Green chili)
  • Green Onion - 2 Tablespoon (finely chopped) (Spring Onion - 2 tablespoons (Finely chopped))
  • Corn Flour - 1 Tablespoon (Corn flour)
  • Salt - Salt
  • Soya sauce - 1 T spoon
  • Tomato Sauce - 1 Tablespoon
  • Ginger - 1 T spoon (finely chopped) (Ginger - 1 teaspoon (Finely chopped))
  • Garlic - 1 1/2 (finely chopped) (Garlic - 1 ½ teaspoon (finely chopped))
  • Chilli sauce - T spoon
  • Coriander leaves - 2 Tablespoon (finely chopped)
  • Oil - As per Minor

How to Make Chilli Paneer Gravy Recipe

  1. In a bowl mix cornflour, flour, salt, red chili powder, ginger paste, and mix. Now prepare a thick batter by adding some water. After that add paneer pieces in it and mix.
  2. Now put oil in a pan and heat it. Now add paneer pieces in it and fry it till it becomes light brown.
  3. Cut onion, capsicum into 1-inch pieces. Chop green chilies into thin slices.
  4. Put oil in a pan and heat it. Now add chopped ginger, garlic, green onions, and roast them. After that add chopped onion, green capsicum, capsicum, green chili, and cook for 1 minute. Now add soy sauce, chili sauce, tomato sauce, and mix. After that cook it by adding 1 cup of water. Now add salt and mix. Now add paneer pieces and mix. Now add some water to the cornflour and mix it in the gravy. Cook until the gravy is slightly thick and turn off the gas. Now add coriander leaves and mix. Hot Chilli Paneer Gravy is ready.
  5. Serve it with Delicious Paneer Kulcha or Paneer Biryani Or Paneer Fried Rice.
