  • 9-inch pie shell (baked and cooled) 
  • 8 golden apples (peeled and cut into pieces)
  • 2 tablespoon all-purpose flour 
  • 8 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp cinnamon 
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar 
  • 2 1/2 cups cinnamon crumb topping

How to make Apple Crumb Pie

  1. First of all, preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Place the oven rack on the middle shelf. Line a baking sheet with foil.
  2. Now in a small bowl whisk both the sugar, maida, nutmeg, and cinnamon together.
  3. Then peel the apple and cut it into small pieces and keep it in a big bowl. Keep in mind that you should have about 8 cups of chopped apples (1000 grams or 2 pounds).
  4. Now toss the apple pieces well with the sugar mixture and place them in the prepared pie pan.
