Ingredients for Stuffed Idli

  • 3 cups of rice 
  • 1 cup urad dal (for washed stuffing)
  • 1 tbsp pistachios (lightly boiled) 
  • 1 tbsp cashew, roasted
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green and red capsicum 
  • 1 tablespoon pickle seasoning
  • 1 tsp kasoori methi 
  • 1 tbsp carrot, chopped

How to make stuffed idli

  1. First of all, make a batter by grinding soaked rice and urad dal.
  2. Then keep it aside and let it ferment.
  3. Now apply oil in the idli tray.
  4. Then mix the stuffing material and place it in the center of the idli.
  5. Then pour the yeast mixture over the stuffing.
  6. Now steam cook the idli.
  7. Serve hot at the end.
