Kadhai chicken recipe

This excellent chicken dish is prepared by adding lots of spices. You can make it on special occasions and dinner parties too. You can also serve kadhai chicken with roti, plate parathas or naan. If you want, you can also eat it with rice.

Ingredients of Kadhai Chicken
- 1 kg Chicken
- 8 Whole Red Chillies
- 1 tbsp whole coriander
- 1/2 tsp ghee
- 1 1/2 tablespoon garlic paste
- 1 kg tomatoes, sliced
- 4 green chillies, chopped into pieces
- 2 1/2 tablespoons ginger
- 2 tbsp fresh coriander
- 1 tsp green cardamom powder
- 1/2 tsp large cardamom powder
- One pinch black pepper powder
- 1 pinch cumin powder
- 1 tsp kasoori methi
- A pinch of fennel powder
- Salt to taste
The method of making a Kadhai Chicken
- First of all roast whole coriander and whole red chilli and grind coarsely.
- Then heat ghee in a pan and add garlic to it and fry it lightly.
- Now add ground spices and mix well.
- Then add tomatoes to it and fry it for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Now add ginger and green chillies to it and fry it on low flame for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Now add chicken to it and mix it well
- Let the chicken cook completely.
- Then add salt and fresh green coriander and mix it well.
- Now add these ingredients big cardamom powder, black pepper, cumin powder, fenugreek seeds powder, fennel powder and green cardamom powder.
- Now Serve hot at the end.
