Ingredients for Chocolate Almond Rum Ball

  • 250 gms chocolate sponge eggless 
  • 100g dark chocolate
  • 150g Single Cream 
  • 100g Almonds
  • 100g castor sugar 
  • 10g instant coffee powder
  • 15 ml dark rum

How to make Chocolate Almond Rum Ball

  1. First heat the cream in a pan, after the cream comes to a boil, remove from the heat. Then mix the chocolate in it and let it cool slightly on one side.
  2. Now toast the almonds in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 8 to 10 minutes and chop them on.
  3. Then heat the castor sugar in a pan and caramelize it. Now add chopped almonds and pour it on the parchment paper. Then crush the nugget with a rolling pin.
  4. Now in a mixing bowl, crumble the chocolate sponge to the bread crumb position. Then add half the chocolate ganache, rum and instant coffee powder dissolved in water and mix with hands.
  5. Then crush two-thirds of the Amand Nogat and put 30 to 40 grams round balls from this mixture and keep it in the fridge.
  6. Now once it is completely set, then coat the rum balls in the remaining chocolate ganache.
  7. Finally, garnish with Amand Nogat and serve.
