Ingredients for Bread Chana Basket

For Bread Basket:
  • 6 Bread Slices
  • White / Brown Butter
For Chana Chaat:
  • 1 cup gram (boiled) 
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 medium tomato, finely chopped 
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste 
  • 2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp chana masala 
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp oil salt as per taste

Method of making bread gram basket

To make bread baskets:
  1. First of all, cut the edges of the bread and make it circular.
  2. Then roll it lightly and straighten it.
  3. Apply butter on both sides of the bread.
  4. Then press them firmly into the muffin pan.
  5. Now bake the bread at a 190-degree oven for 11 to 13 minutes until it turns golden brown.
  6. Then take them out on a wire rack and let it cool.
To make Chana Masala / Chana Chaat:
  1. First heat oil in a pan, add onion and cumin seeds and fry it for 2 minutes. Then add ginger garlic and fry it to remove the smell of its raw water.
  2. Now add tomatoes to it and cook till it is well cooked.
  3. Then add red chili powder, chana masala powder and turmeric powder to it and mix it well.
  4. Now add boiled gram, then add 1/4 cup of water and boil it for 5 to 10 minutes.
  5. Then once it is dry then turn off the heat. Finally, garnish it with green coriander and serve.
